Lingerie Review: Madame Supertrash Bra and Panties

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Madame Supertrash is the lingerie line of the fun, fashion-forward brand Supertrash, based in Europe.  They only launched in 2012, so they’re a pretty new face in the lingerie world and I was excited to give them a try.

I adore the look of this set because it is individual, while still being easy to wear. The cut out overlay on the cups makes a kind of optical illusion that is extremely stylish and flattering. The gold straps and little ‘ST’ detail are a great touch that definitely add to the ‘specialness’ of the piece.

I tried the size 32D because I’ve recently gone up about half a cup size, due to weight gain and it was a perfect fit. The thong was a generous M, so it fit well. I do have sensitive skin, however, and I found that the texture of the cups a tiny bit scratchy at the top of the cups where it curled over. It was relatively minor, but if this is something you know you are sensitive to, you should definitely watch out before trying this set.

One thing I like about this bra is that I think the basketweave cut-out could look really interesting under a sheer top– I’ll have to think about trying that one out some time.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI also got a look at the new SS2014 lookbook, which I think bodes well for the future of this brand. It’s definitely one to watch in the area of edgy, yet wearable style.
