Lingerie Fashion Week: Nevaeh, Naïs, Rouge Seduire and Uye Surana

Day two of Lingerie Fashion Week had a couple of presentations: the first was of New York City-based designers and included NevaehNaïs and Rouge Seduire, while the second was just Uye Surana. Overall, I didn’t like these presentations quite as much as the FYI by Dani Read show, but there were many lovely and interesting pieces. I’ll give a brief description and review of each collection:

I liked the beautiful fan lace and the adorable vintage hats of the Nevaeh presentation. This is a very classic and feminine collection and the raspberry and teal colors are sweet.

My favorite pieces have to be the lace robe and the raspberry soft cup bra with rhinestone buttons. The styling here was great too!_MG_7686

Naïs has some very interesting garters and colored slips with a lot of layering. I probably wouldn’t wear this collection myself because I prefer more structured or flowing pieces but I liked that it had a clear point of view and the makeup really added another dimension to the collection. The earthy and unusual colore combinations also added an interesting twist that made this collection stand out.

Rouge Seduire

I really liked how strong and graphic Rouge Seduire’s shapes were. The bold black and red really made for beautiful pieces and I was especially taken by the bodysuit whose lines seemed inspired by metalwork or bridges._MG_7698
The open cup bra with fringe I hadn’t seen before and was definitely a fun and flirty element.

I’m very interested to see what this newly launched line does next!_MG_7706

Uye Surana

Uye Surana has a very simple, graphic style, focusing on soft bras and loungewear. Although everything looked nice, there was nothing in this collection that really caught my eye or got me excited as I prefer pieces with more aggressive shapes or unusual detailing.
The colors chosen were very trendy though and this felt like an extremely wearable collection.

So, what do you think of these collections? Do you have a favorite?
