Les Lunes is a brand I’m always happy to review because they really understand good design that fits easily into my lifestyle. As far as comfort, style and wearability, I have to give them top marks for making a product that I actively want to wear for almost everything. The Sheer Heaven range is a great expansion of their line and I’ll be reviewing the bra, boyshorts and bodysuit.
I actually use this set as an easy transition between working out and daywear because I generally prefer very light support, so it’s easy to wear for any activity. And when I saw how excellently the boxing gloves and the bra went together and I knew I had to shoot them in a more active fashion that my usual ‘bed-lounging-drinking tea” approach.
One thing I have to really praise Les Lunes for is their good use of materials. The bamboo fabric that makes up the majority of the bra is very breathable, but also thick enough to create a nice shape and prevent nipple show-though. This set is actually so comfortable that I wore them on the flight both to and from Japan in June, which made those 15 hours each direction so much more enjoyable. I tried the bra, boyshorts and bodysuit in a size L, which fit me very well– my usual sizes right now are a 34C and between a size 8 and 10.
I also need to give a special shout out to the matching boyshorts– they have a short mesh waistband which I think is great for anyone who likes their underwear seamless– it really creates no indent at the waist area, which is great.
One thing I really have to commend Les Lunes for is their ability to take feedback. In my last review of their products, I raved about the comfort of almost all of their pieces– the only one I had reservations with was the bodysuit, whose crotch snaps I found wide and sadly chafing. With this design, however, they have done a reboot which is beyond comfortable in all ways and is even more stylish than their previous version. I love the design of the front because I think it’s a great combination of sporty and sexy, which still being insanely easy to wear around for almost anything. Seriously, if you are looking for a bodysuit as an easy layering option, this might be the one you want. (They do have black for all of you style minimalists out there).
What do you think? Would you wear Les Lunes?
