{Lost in Wonderland SS13} So Much Lacy Goodness
I love featuring new designers and Lost in Wonderland is so new her Spring/Summer collection isn’t even for sale yet! If you like these pieces as much as I do you’ll want to know that her online store will be up by Easter. Lost in Wonderland is designed by Scarlett Großelanghorst and is an entirely vegan line from Berlin, Germany. I think all of her designs for SS13 are quite lovely and exciting but the black lace plunge bra is my absolute favorite– I think it shows off the amazing lace perfectly. Check out the images from her SS13 collection and let me know what you think in the comments.
What do you think of her debut collection? Isn’t it lovely?

I cannot wait for them to go on sale. I know there will be a few pieces in my lingerie drawer, if they come iny size
my size, i mean
Ugh, gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. There are some vegans in my life who are going to be very, very excited about this . . .
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sexy vegan lingerie line. Usually, vegan clothing means ho-hum. That’s not the case with these!
I wish SO hard that I could wear Lost in Wonderland. Beautiful, and I’ll admit that being vegan is a plus for me.
Well, she’s new so maybe she’ll expand her size range
. I think pretty vegan options are great! And given that I myself am not vegan, the fact that this line is totally up my alley shows that vegan fashion doesn’t have to be a compromise.
Do you have any details regarding the fabrics/materials used in this line? Assuming polyester, wool, or silk aren’t considered vegan I wonder what the sheer and lace fabrics are made of as well as the bra paddings and hardware.
Most of our fabrics are a mixture of VI, PA, & EA. The leavers lace (black) and the Italian ones (pink & turquois) are PA&VI. The padding I have to look up. But every bra comes as a padded and an unpadded version.
PES and wool are never a good option for lingerie from my point of view. It’s in non of our fabrics.
We also do not use silk, but our mousselin has a silk-like feel, and I have to admit I’m totally in love with this fabric myself. Luckily some prototypes end up in my drawer.
Besides ethic aspects I think special synthetic lingerie fabrics (wich are often reclaims – I hope the word is right, I never explained in English…) are more long-lasting then silk. I don’t want anybody to wear our lingerie ‘only’ on special occasions, it’s made for everyday life.
Sizes:
panties & slipdresses XS-XL
bras: 70/32 A-D, 75/34 A-C, 80/36 A,B, 85/38 A
- We will definately expand the size range, but we have to start somewhere.

36A happy dance!!!!!
Scarlet- Could you please clarify what you mean by “a mixture of VI, PA, & EA”? My research attempts to do so came up with nothing that remotely relates to fabrics.
Also, when I tried to understand the vegan standards of clothing I applied what I know about food consumption, which is obviously different. As Arable pointed out below this comment synthetic fibers can be regarded as “vegan”- who know that ancient giant reptiles can be so diverse?- and I wonder what your take is on that issue. Thanks!
Viscose (VI), Polyamid (PA- synthetic, I know), and spandex (EA).
I’ll will answer the other question within the next days, I’m moving this week and rarely have timefor anything…
But to cut it short: I like reclaimed cellulose best. Otherwise I do not have any problem with synsthetic fibres. In a good mixture different fibres make the best fabric. It is a tough topic, because it is full of cons and pros. Worst fibre might be Cupro, because it’s very bad for the enviroment. Talking of “bad” synthetic fibres: What about our old PET-Bottle which are turned into fleece-clothing? Still bad synthetic fibre, or good one, because it’s recycled? (honestly, I for my kind do not really like them, but anyway – it is recycled)

Love the collection – it is beautiful
I wrote a little post (as it got too long for a comment) about polyester and whether or not it should be considered vegan if you want to take a look:

I’d love to check it out! I definitely don’t know a lot about vegan-ness when it comes to clothing, so I’m excited to learn more
