Before I loved lingerie, I never really liked Valentine’s Day very much– I didn’t get the point. But now, it feels like Valentine’s Day is like an international lingerie holiday when people who ordinarily don’t think too much about lingerie actually start paying attention.
Naturally, as a lingerie blogger, my lingerie wishlist is always overflowing, but I think it would be fun to share with you some of my favorites for Valentine’s Day to give you some ideas!
The second I saw this Gossard lingerie set I fell in love– so appropriate for Valentine’s Day, right? I love the pairing of bright pink and red, the slightly vintage shape and the lovely ribbon detail on the bows, straps and garters. Oh, and there is dotted mesh, basically one of my favorite things… Now I feel confused, why don’t I have this set yet?
Ever since I got my Fifi Chachnil Babyloo, I’ve been mildly obsessed with bloomers. Which is why I desperatedly want these sweet red bloomers from HoneyCooler Handmade. That handmade lace detailing is so lovely and delicate– and did you see the goats in the lace chevron? Definitely not the sexiest of Valentine’s Day lingerie, but the cutest, certainly.
I have been wanting this sheer pink robe from Dottie’s Delights for a while now because I love the frou frou pink ruffles and the vintage shape. The sheerness certainly makes it sexy, but in a soft, feminine way.
Fraulein Kink always has the best accessories and this Valentine’s Day blindfold and handcuffs are no exception. I like the heart in the fringe because it’s clearly very Valentine’s Day appropriate, but not at all cheesy. The red is so jazzy too!
There is so much soft prettiness in these OhhhLulu knickers, it’s no wonder I HAD to include it on my list. Do you see those chiffon roses on the back of the panties?
This red is so bright, I love it! Not traditional lingerie for Valentine’s day, but this Fortnight slip is a lovely piece both to wear as underwear or loungewear. I also think the lace panels are gorgeous and such a flattering style.
This new Made by Niki collection is frilly perfection– and this babydoll is the best of the lot. The pink is absolutely delicious looking (grapefruit pink. maybe?) and I love the swinging shape and the sheerness. I think it’s great how easy it looks, while still maintaining its sex appeal.
What do you think of these pieces for Valentine’s Day? Any ones that you think you’d also definitely want?
