Trend of the Week: Halloween Lingerie
Orange is not usually my favorite color for lingerie, but the number of gorgeous orange pieces I’m seeing right now is making me fall in love with it. And naturally, black needs to be added to make the perfect Halloween collection. Mix it all together and you get perfect Halloween lingerie.
Princesse Tam Tam Half Cup Bra and Tutu Hipster Brief, $81.79 + $65.61
I love the different shades of orange in this Princesse Tam Tam set, as well as the tutu-effect of the knickers. The style is definitely more fun than sexy, like the playful embodiment of a Halloween jack-o-lantern.
Mimi Holliday Bisou Bisou Berry Lace Front Fastening Bra £52
What I love about this Mimi Holliday set is that the black lace looks a bit like cobwebs, but in a way subtle enough for everyday wear. I also think that any front-fastening bra is a good thing, and the style seems so flattering for us small-busted ladies. I wish I could celebrate Halloween in this lingerie!
Fleur of England Tiger Suspender Cami £120
Fleur of England’s new suspender cami definitely looks daring enough to live up to it’s ‘tiger’ namesake. The sheerness definitely means that it’s got Halloween’s requisite sexiness too– it seems wrong to even compare this color to a pumpkin!
La Lilouche Mila Sequin Bodysuit, $120
This sequined La Lilouche bodysuit is the definition of glamour. Halloween is really a holiday when you bring out your inner drama queen and this bodysuit seems perfectly suited to the task (although not really for wearing out in public. You can wear it with a bra (as it is styled in the photo) or even just with pasties for a glittery and dramatic Halloween.
Danae Lace Bodysuit by Sonata Lingerie, $200
Last, but certainly not least, is this absolutely gorgeous bodysuit from Sonata Lingerie. The dark brown accents make this so Halloween appropriate, while the sheer lace is simply sexy all year round.
